How Does EFT Work?

The Missing Link to Vibrant Health and Complete Happiness!

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is sometimes called “acupuncture without needles” because it is friendly, non-invasive and works with the meridians of the body to clear physical and emotional discomfort.

Developed in the 1990s by Gary Craig, EFT is based on the concept that a special vital energy (also known as Qi, Prana, Mana in other cultures) flows through your body. According to traditional Chinese medicine, energy goes through your body through certain invisible pathways called meridians. This combination of tapping the energy meridians while focusing on the disturbance and then voicing positive affirmation works to clear the "short-circuit" - the emotional block - from your body's bioenergy system, thus restoring your mind and body's balance, which is essential for optimal health and well-being.

Author David Feinstein describes EFT in The Promise of Energy Psychology: Revolutionary Tools for Dramatic Personal Change. “EFT is a new technique,” he says, “but it’s based on methods that are at least 4,500 years old. Specific points on the skin can be stimulated for distinct neurological effects, and this principle can be used for helping to overcome a range of psychological problems. While the research supporting this approach is still in its early stages, reports of effective treatment from hundreds of therapists representing the spectrum of clinical orientations are provocative.”

According to EFT’s founder Gary Craig, “You can remove energy blocks by tapping,” he explains, “and by thinking about corresponding symptoms or conditions at the same time, you can remove those, too.

EFT is able to remove physiological and psychological symptoms of stress, mental or physical, in the body and the mind in a gentle manner. By stimulating the different energy meridian points in your body while tapping on specific key points along the meridians; the client repeats custom-made verbal affirmations addressing their fears and anxieties allowing the release of the negative emotions creating a sense of peace and calm about the issue.

By addressing unresolved emotional issues, EFT has proven effective with a WIDE VARIETY of serious diseases, everyday ailments and personal performance goals.
